    More than meets the eye…

Posted in Stuff on June 28th, 2007

So, I was fortunate enough to score preview tickets to see the Michael Bay Transformers flick this evening.  I will say that I’m still not 100% on it, but I’ll share my thoughts.   To be fair to those who wish not to read it, I’m gonna put my comments in the ‘click to read more’ section.

What I will say is the following things (non spoiler).  Bay definitely did bring Transformers to the next gen with this movie.  Old schoolers like myself will be happy enough and new comers won’t be bored.   If you think you’ll like the movie - get in gear and go see it !

Warning - I’m under the belief that it is not suitable for children - maybe a 12/13 year old limit.   That is, unless you want your children to see a good bit of violence & some swearing (and a few sexual references)

    No. 1

Occasionally will do a google search to see where my sites are ranked (if any).  It used to be that a google search for ‘trimper’ would have only landed you either a silly news article for a ‘George Trimper’ (seems to be a popular name for Trimper’s in the news) or you would get ‘Trimpers Rides’ in Ocean City, MD.

Recently, something cool has happened - I have reached number 1 in google search results.   I consider this a major accomplishment, as I am quite the geek.   Now, the pressure is on! - I must build a more worth while site for trimper seekers to land on.  So, look forward to the future for … something?

And, for all you other Trimper’s out there - I think I’m gonna make a page, section or something for “Trimpers on the web”, cause I think that would rock!

So what happened with the Super Bowl, other than a pletheroa of fumbles / turn-overs?

    GMap

Browsing the web, I saw this service posted. It is a easy method to put desired locations onto a Google Map, and embed them in your site easily. You can add various markers for locations you wish to appear. I did this example showing where I work, and where the Sabres play.
